Purpose of this blog
more often than not i forget where i've walked, whom i met and what situation i was in that gave me great insight. This is a space where i can freely write my thoughts down on what i do for my profession, which i would like to say is a Reliability practitioner in Industry. When i say "industry" i mean the part of our society that makes things run: electricity, water, manufacturing, gas, air, etc.
it is by using certain technologies that we can observe the phenomena which run equipment and machines, and what is important to me, what runs them to the ground. I use these technologies, some of them.
but personally, i like observing and getting insight from starting from first principles. by looking at the world (in my case, the world of engineering) from a science based lens, there's many nuances that can be drawn and figured out. I am not a engineer by degree but i occupy a space in the engineering world because i accidentally stumbled into it. you can say i'm just a guest. but aren't we all guests in this world for a limited amount of time?
for the remainder of my time here on earth i would like to uncover many things that leave me perplexed in my profession and jot it down so not only can i recall these experiences but i can appreciate the steps i've taken to learn and absorb them. and hopefully this will be something can be shared to a wider audience sometime in the future.
